Overview

Provides basic office support services using automated office equipment for word processing, records management and administrative tasks requiring department or function knowledge and experience. Work may be of a confidential nature. This is a union position. The successful candidate will be a member of Local IBEW 1600.This position will be based out of PPL's headquarters in Allentown, PA and will support the Office of General Counsel.

Responsibilities

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position may perform any number of the following activities as assigned to provide an efficient, organized and business-like environment in support of the department's objectives:

  1. Type memos, correspondence, forms, reports, charts, etc.

  2. Prepare various records and reports.

  3. Create and maintain files and records management systems.

  4. Receive, review and direct incoming correspondence.

  5. Answer phones and relay messages.

  6. Operate various office service machines.

  7. Take training on automated office equipment.

  8. Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary.

Qualifications

  1. Successful completion of Clerical Job Family 2 Test and Typing Test.

  2. Satisfactory completion of high school level typing and clerical courses or the equivalent experience.

  3. Ability to follow instructions and learn methods.

  4. Ability to write legibly.

  5. Neatness in appearance.

Remote Work
